Project Manager - Water/Wastewater

Job Summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Project Manager to lead water and wastewater infrastructure initiatives from planning through delivery. This employee-owner role supports municipal, government, and utility clients while coordinating multidisciplinary project teams.

Project Details

The position covers multi-million-dollar water-related infrastructure work, including treatment facilities, linear infrastructure, asset management, and engineering, procurement, and construction services.

Responsibilities

• Direct project scope, cost, schedule, quality, safety, contractual compliance, and client satisfaction.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, startup, and third-party activities.
• Oversee engineering managers, project performance reviews, budgets, invoicing, and payments.
• Lead client engagement, proposals, business development, and project contracting efforts.
• Staff, mentor, coach, and develop multidisciplinary project professionals.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 10 or more years of program or project management and relevant technical experience.
• Background in water and wastewater treatment, linear infrastructure planning and design, and asset management.
• Professional Engineer license preferred.
• Ability to travel to client sites and complete applicable pre-employment screening.
