Project Manager - Water/Wastewater

Job Summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Project Manager to lead the delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects in a senior business and project leadership role based in Columbus.

Project Details

The position supports multi-million-dollar water and wastewater programs, including treatment facilities, linear infrastructure, planning, asset management, engineering, procurement, construction, and startup activities.

Responsibilities

• Manage project cost, schedule, quality, risk, contractual compliance, safety, and client satisfaction.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, startup, and third-party contributors.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams, oversee engineering managers, and support staffing and team development.
• Manage project budgets, invoicing, payments, performance reviews, and client relationships.
• Support business development through market strategy, proposals, client presentations, budgeting, and contracting.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 10 or more years of program or project management experience with a technical background.
• Experience with water and wastewater treatment, linear infrastructure planning and design, and business development.
• Professional Engineer license preferred.
• Ability to complete applicable background, drug screening, and motor vehicle record requirements.
