Project Manager Nuclear Services

Job Summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a mid-level Project Manager to lead nuclear engineering services and EPC work for client projects at the Richland, Washington site. The role manages multiple medium- to large-scale assignments supporting safe, reliable nuclear generation.

Project Details

Projects include nuclear plant modifications, feasibility studies, design and engineering services, Extended Power Uprate initiatives, and generator or transformer replacement and upgrade work. Execution may follow the industry Standard Design Process.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and track project performance, finances, schedules, quality, contracts, safety, and client satisfaction.
• Coordinate engineers, subject matter experts, construction managers, clients, and EPC contractors.
• Lead proposals, technical specifications, RFP responses, bid evaluations, cost estimates, and feasibility studies.
• Resolve escalated issues and maintain strong nuclear and industrial safety practices.
• Provide technical and execution support across project development and delivery.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 10 years of progressively responsible industry experience, including 5 or more years managing engineering services or EPC projects.
• Experience with nuclear power projects and plant modifications is preferred.
• Strong electrical engineering experience in power generation facilities, particularly generator and transformer upgrades, is preferred.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or naturalized U.S. citizen because of nuclear export-control requirements.
