Project Manager, Industrial Water

Job Summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Project Manager to lead industrial water, wastewater, and stormwater initiatives for heavy commercial and industrial clients. This employee-owner position is based in Greenwood Village with no relocation eligibility and may offer hybrid flexibility after 90 days, subject to business needs.

Project Details

The Industrial Water team delivers lifecycle water and wastewater solutions that address client schedules, budgets, sustainability objectives, regulatory requirements, and community considerations.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development efforts, including market strategy, prospect development, proposals, client presentations, budgeting, and contracting.
• Manage client relationships and support market, account, and engagement strategies.
• Oversee engineering managers and project teams while establishing and tracking performance objectives.
• Manage project budgets, invoicing, payments, commercial matters, and performance reviews.
• Coach and develop staff and recommend training, advancement, and recruiting needs.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
• At least 15 years of water and wastewater experience, including demonstrated industrial-sector work.
• Professional Engineer licensure and a technical bachelor’s degree are preferred.
• Knowledge of budgets, financial measures, contract terms, risk, pricing, and payment conditions is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual compensation range is $142,648-$242,495. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability coverage, wellness resources, paid time off, holidays, sick leave, dependent sick leave, a company-matched 401(k), and employee stock ownership. A performance-based bonus may also be available.
