Job Summary

Overland Contracting Inc. is seeking a Boilermaker Superintendent for simple-cycle and combined-cycle power construction work in Lawton. This field leadership role coordinates site supervision, field engineering, safety, quality, schedule, and contractor performance.

Project Details

The assignment supports industrial power-generation construction involving simple-cycle and combined-cycle facilities. The role is field-based and requires travel.

Responsibilities

• Support the Construction Manager in enforcing safety, quality, schedule, ethical, and performance requirements.
• Monitor construction progress, commodity installation, resources, punch-list completion, and compliance with project plans.
• Prepare three-week look-ahead schedules, daily logs, job hazard analyses, progress reports, and work-package documentation.
• Participate in foreman planning meetings and help resolve drawing, schedule, quality, cost, labor, and field execution issues.
• Identify out-of-scope work and potential back charges, support commercial recovery, and assist with extra-work authorizations.
• Mentor field staff and other discipline superintendents, while providing work direction and performance support to assigned personnel.

Required Experience

• At least five years of construction field leadership experience on equivalent projects.
• Boilermaker construction experience, preferably on simple-cycle and combined-cycle projects.
• Construction management or engineering degree preferred.
• Working knowledge of construction safety, cost and labor productivity controls, project schedules, contracts, constructability, and industrial relations.
• OSHA 10 certification and a valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work at height and in confined areas, climb ladders and scaffolds, and perform physical labor in varying weather conditions.
