Conveyance Practice Leader and Sr. Project Manager

Job Summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Conveyance Practice Leader and Senior Project Manager to grow and manage water and wastewater infrastructure work across Texas and the central region. The role combines client development, technical leadership, project delivery, and team development.

Project Details

The position focuses on planning, design, and delivery for major pump stations, large-diameter pipelines, water and wastewater systems, treatment facilities, asset management programs, and capital improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead market strategies, pursuit planning, proposals, client presentations, budgeting, and contract development.
• Build client relationships and represent the company in client and community activities.
• Oversee engineering managers, project teams, performance goals, budgets, invoicing, payments, and project reviews.
• Support regional business planning and expand the water infrastructure market footprint.
• Coach and mentor staff and recommend training, promotions, and recruiting priorities.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Twenty or more years of relevant water engineering experience, including water and wastewater infrastructure planning, asset management, detailed design, and construction.
• Experience with business development and program or project management.
• Advanced knowledge of engineering design principles, applicable standards, water and wastewater treatment, and linear infrastructure design.
• Texas Professional Engineer license preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The full-time, employee-owned position is relocation eligible and offers hybrid or flexible work options after the first 90 days, subject to business conditions.
