Job Summary

Bird Electric Enterprises is seeking an Electrician Foreman to supervise electrical craft crews and direct safe, efficient installation, testing, repair, and commissioning work in accordance with project plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical crews, coordinate with other crafts, assign work, and provide on-the-job training.
• Prepare short-term schedules, establish crew production goals, review timekeeping, and coordinate tools, materials, and equipment.
• Conduct toolbox talks and daily pre-job safety planning, enforce lockout/tagout procedures, report incidents, and address field hazards.
• Inspect work for quality and compliance, correct deficiencies, monitor installed systems, and complete required progress and performance documentation.
• Ensure equipment inspections, safe operations, and required craft performance assessments are completed.

Required Experience

• At least five years of electrician or comparable craft experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Highly qualified journeyman electrician with strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code and applicable jurisdictional licensing requirements.
• Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
• One or more listed credentials, including a State Electrical License, NCCER Electrical, NCCER Electrical and Instrumentation Technician, NCCER Pipeline Electrical and Instrumentation Technician, NCCER Project Supervision, or NCCER Project Management.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders and scaffolds, work in confined spaces, and perform physically demanding work for shifts of up to 12 hours.
