Job Summary

Barton Malow is hiring a Senior Superintendent to lead field delivery for a battery energy storage system project in Saginaw, Michigan. The role oversees site execution, trade partners, project performance, and coordination with the project team.

Project Details

This is an industrial battery energy storage project requiring full-time, on-site leadership in Saginaw and openness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily site labor, subcontractors, logistics, and field activities.
• Enforce safety requirements, including pre-task planning and field compliance.
• Support bidding, work-scope development, cost control, forecasting, and change management.
• Develop the baseline schedule, lead pull-planning sessions, and maintain six-week look-ahead reporting.
• Communicate site conditions, progress, issues, and performance to project managers and stakeholders.
• Build effective working relationships with clients, trade partners, authorities, and project staff.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering.
• 15 or more years of relevant industrial and energy construction experience.
• Strong knowledge of contracts, legal requirements, project controls, and trade-partner management.
• Proven leadership, organization, communication, conflict-resolution, and complex problem-solving abilities.
