Electrical Superintendent (Thermal)

Job Summary

Barton Malow is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to lead field execution for a thermal project in Ashville, Ohio. This traveling role requires full-time onsite presence and strong electrical construction leadership.

Project Details

The position supports thermal and renewable energy construction involving electrical installations, power distribution, multidisciplinary coordination, and field turnover.

Responsibilities

• Direct electrical construction activities and supervise crews and subcontractors.
• Enforce jobsite safety, quality standards, code compliance, and project requirements.
• Manage field planning, sequencing, short-term schedules, manpower, materials, and equipment.
• Coordinate with project management, engineering, clients, inspectors, and trade partners to resolve field issues.
• Review drawings, submittals, installation plans, QA/QC documentation, inspections, and turnover materials.
• Support BIM coordination, clash resolution, productivity tracking, cost control, and material usage.
• Mentor field personnel and promote a collaborative, productive jobsite culture.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent field experience.
• At least 4 years of electrical construction experience, with field supervision experience strongly preferred.
• Thermal project experience is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of power distribution, electrical installation practices, construction drawings, QA/QC, and turnover procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, BIM360, and Bluebeam.
• OSHA 15- or 30-Hour Certification required.
• Ability to travel extensively and work onsite full-time at project locations.
