Safety Manager (Thermal)

Job Summary

Barton Malow is hiring a Safety Manager to lead project safety efforts, strengthen field compliance, and support safe execution across thermal and related industrial construction assignments. The role is based in New Albany, Ohio, with extended travel to project sites.

Project Details

Assignments may involve industrial, automotive, energy and thermal, or data center construction environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage project safety requirements and help align field operations with customer and company standards.
• Lead orientations, toolbox talks, safety meetings, and workforce education programs.
• Coordinate with labor, management, site personnel, and subcontractors to address hazards and unsafe activities.
• Support pre-job planning, process audits, and corrective-action feedback.
• Investigate incidents, prepare reports, participate in reviews, and maintain project safety documentation.

Required Experience

• At least four years of construction safety experience.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Current First Aid/CPR and AED certification required.
• CHST certification preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety or a related field preferred.
• Availability for extended travel and shift work, including evenings and weekends.
