Job Summary

Barton Malow is seeking a Senior Superintendent to direct field operations for commercial construction work in Metro Detroit. The role serves as the senior jobsite leader, responsible for safety, quality, schedule, budget coordination, staff development, and project administration.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction activities from preconstruction planning through project closeout.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and trade sequencing to support efficient jobsite operations.
• Promote compliance with safety and quality requirements through inspections, communication, and enforcement.
• Track labor costs, material costs, inventory, and project records.
• Help resolve trade conflicts and jurisdictional issues.
• Mentor field personnel and maintain effective relationships with project teams and trade partners.

Required Experience

• At least 10 years of superintendent leadership experience.
• At least 10 years of commercial construction experience.
• Education project experience is preferred.
• Willingness to remain on-site at the assigned project for its duration.
• OSHA 30 certification is preferred.
