MEP Superintendent - Baltimore, MD

Job Summary

Barton Malow Builders is seeking an MEP Superintendent in Baltimore to lead mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and special systems work while supporting safe, timely, and quality project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Enforce site safety policies and implement pre-task planning for trade activities.
• Supervise, sequence, and coordinate MEP contractors, equipment vendors, and other trade partners.
• Monitor productivity, maintain the project schedule, and support site logistics planning.
• Coordinate mechanical and electrical overhead systems and oversee punch-list completion.
• Manage contract requirements, limit field changes, and help develop trade scopes and front-end documents.
• Communicate with the Project Manager and resolve field conflicts and disputes promptly.

Required Experience

• At least five years of experience involving mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work.
• Prior superintendent experience is preferred.
• Four-year technical or engineering degree, or equivalent field experience.
• Healthcare project experience is preferred.
• OSHA 30-hour training is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Base pay is $100,000-$165,000 per year, based on experience, with an annual incentive bonus plan, 401(k) and matching, health and dental insurance, and paid time off.
