Job Summary

Barton Malow Builders is seeking a senior field operations leader to oversee delivery of major healthcare construction work across the Southeast. The role combines project leadership, regional operational support, strategic planning, safety leadership, and superintendent development.

Project Details

The position supports complex healthcare projects and portfolios across Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Florida, including projects valued at $500 million or more.

Responsibilities

• Direct field execution, safety compliance, quality, productivity, and coordination on one or more large healthcare projects.
• Establish project build strategies, site logistics, phasing plans, and schedule execution.
• Coordinate subcontractors, permits, inspections, authorities having jurisdiction, commissioning activities, and owner operations.
• Support estimating, bidding, scope development, project forecasting, cost control, and pursuit efforts.
• Represent field operations in meetings with owners, designers, project executives, and project teams.
• Mentor superintendents, share lessons learned, and develop future field leaders.

Required Experience

• At least 15 years of healthcare construction experience on large, complex projects.
• Experience leading healthcare projects valued at $500 million or more.
• At least 8 years supervising project teams and trade partners.
• Regional contractor knowledge and strong negotiation skills for resolving field issues.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Willingness to travel throughout the Southeast region.
