Traveling Senior Superintendent, Advanced Industries

Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Traveling Senior Superintendent to lead complex Advanced Industries construction projects nationwide. This role directs field execution, project teams, construction sequencing, and delivery from planning through closeout.

The Advanced Facilities Group delivers large-scale industrial and manufacturing, data center, and semiconductor projects for innovative clients across the country.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex stand-alone projects or multiple projects with multiple superintendents.
• Direct subcontractors, suppliers, company staff, site logistics, work plans, and construction workflow.
• Own field safety, quality, production, scheduling, risk management, and project closeout activities.
• Coordinate daily and trade meetings, owner and architect meetings, project reviews, and project change discussions.
• Maintain project documentation, reports, schedules, cost tracking, material needs, and equipment planning.
• Lead project pre-planning, staffing, procurement coordination, and self-perform operations.
• Develop team capability, recruit talent, support business development, and build lasting client relationships.

Required Experience

• High school diploma or GED required; a construction management, engineering, or related bachelor's degree is preferred.
• At least 10 years of construction experience and 8 years of field supervision experience.
• Advanced communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in project management, accounting, scheduling, and construction technology tools.
• Knowledge of construction means and methods, trade scopes, self-perform operations, labor productivity, layout, crane flagging, rigging, and Lean practices.
• Valid unrestricted driver's license required.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions and non-traditional hours.
