Superintendent 1, Mission Critical

Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Superintendent 1 to support field execution for advanced facilities projects. The role coordinates site operations, project teams, subcontractors, materials, documentation, safety, quality, schedule, and closeout activities.

The Advanced Facilities Group delivers mission critical, data center, semiconductor, and industrial manufacturing projects across the country.

Responsibilities

• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, company staff, site logistics, workflow, and daily field operations.
• Develop and maintain work plans, schedules, reports, logs, drawings, and project documentation.
• Lead safety, quality, trade, progress, and project review meetings.
• Coordinate materials, equipment, procurement, self-perform activities, staffing, and timecard approvals.
• Monitor schedule, costs, quality compliance, project changes, and closeout work.
• Communicate with owners, designers, authorities, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Promote a safe, inclusive, collaborative field culture and help develop project talent.

Required Experience

• High school diploma or GED required; a construction management, engineering, or related bachelor's degree is preferred.
• At least 3 years of construction experience, including 1 year of field supervision experience.
• Working knowledge of construction methods, project processes, scheduling, project management and accounting software, construction technology, Lean practices, layout, rigging, and trade scopes.
• Intermediate written and verbal communication, presentation, collaboration, and documentation skills.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions and non-traditional hours.
