Traveling Project Manager, Advanced Industries

Job Summary

JE Dunn is hiring a traveling Project Manager to lead the administration, coordination, financial management, and delivery of Advanced Industries construction projects nationwide. The role partners closely with the Project Superintendent, clients, designers, subcontractors, and internal teams.

The Advanced Facilities Group delivers large industrial and manufacturing, data center, and semiconductor projects for innovative clients across the country.

Responsibilities

• Direct project startup, preconstruction planning, procurement, buyout, subcontract administration, and closeout.
• Coordinate owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, field teams, and logistics partners.
• Manage submittals, change requests, pay applications, project schedules, materials, labor, and procurement logs.
• Track budgets, forecasts, margins, risks, documentation, and project reporting.
• Lead project meetings, address schedule impacts, support safety performance, and develop mitigation plans.
• Drive closeout activities including punch lists, financial reconciliation, subcontracts, and warranties.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least five years of construction management experience.
• Working knowledge of construction methods, project processes, scheduling, budgeting, accounting, and construction technology.
• Advanced proficiency with project management, accounting, construction technology, and scheduling software, plus intermediate MS Office and Lean process skills.
• Valid and unrestricted driver's license required.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and work at project sites or in offices, including non-traditional hours when needed.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary is $125,300-$156,000 per year, depending on experience, with eligibility for a target bonus based on individual and company performance. The position includes professional non-union benefits.
