Traveling Concrete Project Manager

Job Summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Traveling Concrete Project Manager 1 to direct project operations, administration, client relationships, and coordination with the Project Superintendent. The role supports safe, profitable, and timely project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, preconstruction, buyout, subcontracting, submittals, procurement, and scheduling.
• Coordinate owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and field teams.
• Manage change requests, pay applications, cost forecasts, project reporting, and budget performance.
• Identify schedule and resource risks, develop mitigation plans, and maintain project documentation.
• Lead project meetings, safety initiatives, closeout activities, warranties, and final project administration.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• At least five years of construction management experience.
• Intermediate communication, presentation, Microsoft Office, and Lean process skills.
• Advanced proficiency with project management, accounting, construction technology, and scheduling software.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license required.

Compensation and Benefits

This is a full-time professional non-union position with JE Dunn’s professional benefits package. The assignment may involve travel or relocation, project-site and office work, non-traditional hours, and exposure to varying weather conditions. The role requires the ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
