Superintendent Florida Buildings (SP)

Job Summary

PCL Construction Services is seeking a Superintendent to lead field operations for its Florida Buildings team in Orlando. This role oversees project execution, workforce leadership, scheduling, safety, quality, cost control, and stakeholder coordination.

Responsibilities

• Implement site safety procedures and maintain required safety documentation.
• Lead, coach, and develop project personnel, subcontractors, and trade partners.
• Coordinate field activities, resolve conflicts, and address constructability and schedule issues.
• Develop project execution plans, critical-path schedules, and resource-loaded three-week lookaheads.
• Monitor budgets, forecasts, productivity, labor costs, quality, and project risks.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, labor representatives, engineers, estimators, and internal teams.
• Lead effective site and client meetings while maintaining project correspondence and contract documentation.

Required Experience

• Journeyman certification or a related undergraduate or engineering degree.
• NCSO designation required; Gold Seal program enrollment is preferred.
• Approximately 10 years of progressive field supervision experience preferred.
• Demonstrated success supervising construction workforces and coordinating multiple project scopes.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, specifications, materials, safety requirements, scheduling, productivity, cost reporting, and contract risk.
• Ability to use scheduling software, Microsoft Office, and operational systems.
• Effective leadership, communication, conflict resolution, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
