Superintendent

Job Summary

PCL Construction Services, Inc. is seeking a Superintendent in Bellevue, Washington, to lead field delivery while maintaining strong standards for safety, quality, schedule, and client service.

Responsibilities

• Direct, coach, and develop project teams, subcontractors, trades, and field personnel.
• Implement site safety procedures and ensure compliance with documentation and environmental requirements.
• Coordinate work activities, resolve conflicts, and manage productivity, quality, schedule, and budget performance.
• Build project schedules, identify critical path items, and maintain resource-loaded three-week lookahead plans.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, estimators, clients, consultants, labor representatives, and subcontractors.
• Review contracts and subcontracts, manage project risks, and maintain project records and stakeholder relationships.

Required Experience

• Journeyman certificate or related undergraduate or engineering degree.
• NCSO designation required; Gold Seal program enrollment preferred.
• Approximately 10 years of progressive field supervision experience preferred, including successful construction workforce supervision.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, specifications, safety practices, scheduling, cost reports, contracts, and risk management.
• Ability to lead site and client meetings, resolve conflicts, solve problems, and coordinate multiple project scopes.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and internal operational systems.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary is $133,500-$165,000 based on experience and qualifications. The package may include employee ownership, discretionary performance bonuses, a 401(k) match, health and insurance coverage, paid leave, wellness resources, and professional development programs.
