Superintendent

Job Summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Superintendent to oversee complex construction projects, coordinate field operations, and support safe, timely, and profitable completion. The role offers a path to Superintendent 3 and requires strong collaboration with project teams, trade partners, owners, and design professionals.

Responsibilities

• Lead site safety, quality, scheduling, production, and subcontractor coordination.
• Manage project workflow, materials, equipment, documentation, meetings, and field reporting.
• Develop and adjust work plans and schedules with the Project Manager.
• Coordinate project changes, budgets, procurement, closeout activities, and quality compliance.
• Direct site logistics, staffing, self-perform work, and project risk management.
• Communicate with owners, architects, authorities, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Support project pursuits, buyout meetings, contract administration, and team development.

Required Experience

• High school diploma or GED required; a construction management, engineering, or related bachelor's degree is preferred.
• At least 5 years of construction experience, including 3 years of field supervision.
• Working knowledge of construction means and methods, scheduling, project management systems, accounting software, construction technology, Lean practices, and project documentation.
• Valid and unrestricted driver's license required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions and non-traditional hours.
