Superintendent 3 Healthcare

Job Summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Superintendent 3 to lead moderately complex healthcare construction projects in Raleigh. This role manages field operations from project start through closeout, coordinating teams and maintaining schedule, safety, quality, and project goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, field staff, site logistics, work plans, and construction sequencing.
• Lead daily and weekly trade meetings, owner-architect-contractor meetings, and project review activities.
• Develop and adjust schedules with the Project Manager while monitoring changes, costs, risks, and deliverables.
• Direct site safety, quality assurance, documentation, reporting, materials, equipment, and closeout activities.
• Coordinate project staffing, procurement, buyout, self-perform work, and field operations.
• Build client relationships, support pursuits and presentations, and help generate future business.

Required Experience

• High school diploma or GED required; a construction management, engineering, or related bachelor's degree is preferred.
• At least 8 years of construction experience, including 5 years in field supervision.
• Working knowledge of construction means and methods, scheduling, project management software, accounting systems, construction technology, Lean practices, layout, and crane flagging and rigging.
• Intermediate communication, presentation, collaboration, budgeting, and project management skills are required.
• A valid and unrestricted driver's license is required.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions and non-traditional hours when project needs require.
