Superintendent 3 - Electrical - Mission Critical

Job Summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Superintendent 3 to lead moderately complex electrical mission-critical projects in Nashville. The role oversees field execution, project teams, sequencing, safety, quality, and timely completion from mobilization through closeout.

Project Details

This position supports electrical work on mission-critical construction projects and may manage a stand-alone project or a major portion of a larger project with multiple field supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Direct subcontractors, suppliers, company staff, workflow, site logistics, and field staffing.
• Plan and maintain construction schedules in coordination with project management.
• Lead daily and weekly trade meetings, owner-architect-contractor meetings, and project reviews.
• Promote an injury-free jobsite, investigate incidents, and support safety retraining.
• Manage materials, equipment, documentation, reports, timecards, costs, quality controls, and closeout activities.
• Coordinate project changes, risk management, procurement, buyout, and preconstruction planning.
• Build client relationships, support pursuits, and help develop future business opportunities.

Required Experience

• High school diploma or GED required; a construction management, engineering, or related bachelor's degree is preferred.
• At least 8 years of construction experience and 5 years of field supervision experience.
• Working knowledge of construction means and methods, scheduling, project management systems, accounting software, construction technology, Lean practices, trade scopes, and labor productivity.
• Advanced layout, crane flagging, and rigging knowledge is required.
• Intermediate communication, presentation, scheduling, budgeting, collaboration, and document-change management skills.
• Valid, unrestricted driver's license required.
