Superintendent 3

Job Summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Superintendent 3 in Atlanta to lead moderately complex construction projects from planning through closeout. The role manages field teams, coordinates project execution, and supports safe, timely, and profitable delivery.

Responsibilities

• Direct subcontractors, suppliers, company staff, field supervisors, and project workflow.
• Plan sequencing, develop work plans, and create or adjust project schedules with the Project Manager.
• Lead safety, quality, coordination, progress, and owner-architect-contractor meetings.
• Manage site logistics, materials, equipment, documentation, cost tracking, timecard approvals, and project closeout.
• Identify project risks, address changes, support procurement and buyout activities, and help manage budgets and productivity.
• Build client relationships, contribute to pursuits and presentations, and support future business development.

Required Experience

• At least 8 years of construction experience and 5 years of field supervision experience.
• High school diploma or GED required; a construction management, engineering, or related bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Experience applying construction management methods, scheduling, project management software, construction technology, and Lean practices.
• Advanced knowledge of layout, crane flagging, and rigging.
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license required.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions and non-traditional hours.
