Superintendent 3

Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Superintendent 3 to lead moderately complex construction projects from mobilization through closeout in Beaverton. The role oversees field teams, construction sequencing, safety, quality, schedule, costs, and project completion.

Responsibilities

• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, field supervisors, company staff, site logistics, and workflow.
• Develop and maintain work plans, schedules, daily reports, documentation, and project records.
• Lead safety, quality, coordination, progress, trade, and owner-architect-contractor meetings.
• Coordinate materials, equipment, self-perform operations, procurement, timecard approvals, and closeout activities.
• Identify project risks, manage changes, support cost and schedule decisions, and recommend solutions.
• Help staff projects, recruit talent, support pursuits, and build long-term client relationships.

Required Experience

• High school diploma or GED required; a construction management, engineering, or related bachelor's degree is preferred.
• At least 8 years of construction experience and 5 years of field supervision experience.
• Working knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, project management and accounting software, construction technology, Lean practices, trades, self-perform work, and labor productivity.
• Advanced layout, crane flagging, and rigging knowledge.
• Intermediate communication, presentation, scheduling, budgeting, collaboration, and project-management skills.
• Valid unrestricted driver's license required.

Compensation and Benefits

The position is classified as professional non-union and includes an employer benefits package. Work may involve travel or relocation, non-traditional hours, outdoor conditions, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
