Superintendent 2, Mission Critical

Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Superintendent 2 to lead execution of moderately complex mission critical and advanced facilities construction projects. The role oversees field operations, coordinates project resources, and supports safe, timely, and financially successful delivery.

Project Details

The Advanced Facilities Group works on data centers, semiconductor facilities, industrial and manufacturing projects, and other technically advanced construction programs across the country.

Responsibilities

• Direct subcontractors, suppliers, company staff, site logistics, workflow, and material and equipment needs.
• Lead safety, quality, coordination, daily standups, trade meetings, and owner-architect-contractor meetings.
• Develop and maintain project schedules with the Project Manager and manage project changes, risks, documentation, and reporting.
• Oversee self-perform work, productivity, cost tracking, quality control, closeout, and pre-punch activities.
• Support staffing, procurement, project pursuits, buyout, change negotiations, and development of field plans.

Required Experience

• High school diploma or GED required; a construction management, engineering, or related bachelor's degree is preferred.
• At least 5 years of construction experience and 3 years of field supervision experience.
• Working knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, project management and accounting systems, construction technology, Lean practices, trade scopes, layout, and rigging.
• Intermediate communication, presentation, Microsoft Office, scheduling, and project software skills.
• Valid unrestricted driver's license, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and willingness to work non-traditional hours as project conditions require.
• Lean experience is preferred.
