Superintendent 2, Electrical - Mission Critical

Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Superintendent 2 to oversee electrical construction activities on mission-critical and advanced-facility projects. The role manages field execution for projects of moderate complexity and supports safe, timely, and profitable delivery.

The Advanced Facilities Group delivers data center, semiconductor, industrial, and manufacturing construction projects for innovative clients across the country.

Responsibilities

• Direct subcontractors, company staff, suppliers, workflow, and site logistics.
• Lead safety, quality, scheduling, coordination, and project documentation activities.
• Run daily and trade coordination meetings and participate in owner, architect, and project review meetings.
• Manage materials, equipment, procurement support, timecards, cost tracking, and schedule updates.
• Coordinate inspections, quality compliance, change management, closeout, and pre-punch work.
• Identify project risks, resolve field issues, and collaborate with project management and field leadership.

Required Experience

• High school diploma or GED required; a construction management, engineering, or related bachelor's degree is preferred.
• At least 5 years of construction experience and 3 years of field supervision experience.
• Working knowledge of construction means and methods, scheduling, project controls, quality, self-perform operations, and field technology.
• Intermediate proficiency with MS Office, project management and accounting software, scheduling software, and construction technology.
• Experience with Lean principles is preferred.
• Valid, unrestricted driver's license required; ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in variable weather and non-traditional hours.
