Superintendent 2

Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Superintendent 2 to lead field operations on fairly complex construction projects in the Atlanta area. The role oversees project execution, workforce coordination, safety, quality, scheduling, and closeout activities.

Responsibilities

• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, company personnel, site logistics, and daily workflow.
• Develop and maintain work plans, schedules, reports, project documentation, and cost tracking.
• Lead safety, quality, trade, progress, and owner-architect-contractor meetings.
• Coordinate materials, equipment, staffing, procurement, self-perform work, and timecard approvals.
• Monitor project risks, changes, productivity, budget impacts, and schedule performance with the project team.
• Support inspections, punch work, project closeout, recruiting, and a diverse and inclusive field culture.

Required Experience

• At least 5 years of construction experience, including 3 or more years in field supervision.
• High school diploma or GED required; a construction management, engineering, or related bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Working knowledge of construction means and methods, project controls, scheduling, accounting software, construction technology, Lean practices, trade scopes, layout, and rigging.
• Intermediate communication, presentation, Microsoft Office, collaboration, and project management capabilities.
• Valid, unrestricted driver's license required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions and on active construction sites.

Project Details

The superintendent manages a stand-alone project or a major project segment from mobilization through completion, coordinating field production and project-team deliverables.

Compensation and Benefits
