Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Superintendent 1 for its Advanced Facilities Group in Atlanta. This field leadership role supports self-perform operations and helps deliver complex industrial, data center, and semiconductor construction projects.

Project Details

The Advanced Facilities Group delivers large-scale industrial and manufacturing, data center, and semiconductor projects. The superintendent may support a small project or a major portion of a larger project.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, company staff, materials, equipment, and self-performed work.
• Maintain site safety, quality, documentation, workflow, and project schedule in coordination with project management.
• Lead daily and weekly trade meetings and participate in owner, architect, and project review meetings.
• Monitor self-perform productivity, timecards, costs, procurement, and equipment needs.
• Manage drawings, reports, inspections, closeout activities, and project changes.
• Support staffing, recruiting, preconstruction planning, buyout, and field execution throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Experience

• At least 3 years of construction experience, including at least 1 year of field supervision experience.
• High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Working knowledge of construction means and methods, self-perform operations, labor productivity, scheduling, project controls, and construction technology.
• Intermediate knowledge of applicable trades, layout, crane flagging, and rigging.
• Intermediate communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in MS Office, project management, accounting, and scheduling software.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions and non-traditional hours.
