Senior Project Manager, Mission Critical

Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead significantly complex mission-critical construction projects or multiple projects, with responsibility for project delivery, administration, safety, schedule, and financial performance in El Paso.

Responsibilities

• Direct project operations from preconstruction through closeout, including estimating, buyout, subcontract awards, submittals, change management, pay applications, reporting, and final closeout.
• Coordinate owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, field teams, logistics, and internal company resources.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, forecasts, procurement logs, risk plans, and mitigation strategies.
• Lead project safety planning, incident investigations, team mentoring, progress meetings, and owner-architect-contractor meetings.
• Negotiate project issues, change orders, contingency use, and fee adjustments while supporting profitability and client relationships.
• Build and manage project teams and contribute to business development, marketing, diversity, and inclusion initiatives.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least 10 years of construction management experience.
• Advanced verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Working knowledge of MS Office, CMiC or similar project accounting software, scheduling tools, BIM, construction technology, and Lean practices.
• Experience preparing budgets, GMPs or hard bids, range estimates, preconstruction plans, and project business plans.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license required.
