Job Summary

PCL Industrial Construction Co. is seeking a Senior Industrial Project Manager in Houston to lead complex industrial construction projects, guide project teams, strengthen client relationships, and promote safe, collaborative project delivery.

Project Details

The role supports large-scale heavy industrial projects with budgets of $150 million or more. Responsibilities span multiple sites, project types, delivery models, and commercial structures.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and mentor project teams across one or more sites.
• Set and execute project strategy, including scope, sequencing, schedule, cost, and change management.
• Coordinate with superintendents, clients, consultants, trade partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Manage budgets, schedules, workforce, equipment, materials, HSE, quality, reporting, and document control.
• Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining risk management procedures.
• Approve and negotiate change orders and evaluate their cost and schedule effects.
• Support business development through estimating, subcontractor coordination, proposals, and presentations.

Required Experience

• At least 15 years of heavy industrial project management experience leading large, complex projects.
• Demonstrated management of industrial projects valued at $150 million or more.
• Advanced knowledge of construction methods, specifications, materials, sequencing, contracts, commercial risk, and project controls.
• Experience leading site and client meetings, managing trade partner performance, and administering multiple delivery models.
• Strong communication, planning, organization, problem-solving, negotiation, dispute resolution, and contract management skills.
• Advanced knowledge of project management, estimating, engineering, and construction management software.
• Ability to work required project hours in a fast-paced environment and represent the company at client and industry events.
