Solar Site Project Manager

Job Summary

PCL Solar Constructors USA Inc. is seeking a Solar Site Project Manager to lead utility-scale solar construction from mobilization through completion. The role is based in Eunice, Louisiana, with project assignments potentially available in multiple states.

Project Details

Manage medium-sized utility-scale solar projects, coordinating construction, design, procurement, safety, quality, budget, schedule, and closeout activities. After project completion, eligible employees may transfer to another project in a different state.

Responsibilities

• Direct project contract administration, field execution, technical coordination, and overall performance.
• Implement the project safety plan and reinforce health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Control construction quality, costs, resources, schedules, risks, and opportunities.
• Negotiate subcontracts and major purchase orders, administer payments, and track commitments.
• Communicate project status and manage relationships with clients, stakeholders, subcontractors, and decision-makers.
• Coordinate design progress, constructability, quality reviews, and closeout when applicable.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
• Eight to ten years of progressive construction experience; leadership and mentoring experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, specifications, codes, contracts, safety, and quality practices.
• Experience managing project budgets, schedules, risk, and stakeholder relationships.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, project management tools, and scheduling software.
