Solar Site HSE Supervisor

Job Summary

PCL Solar Constructors USA Inc. is seeking a Solar Site HSE Supervisor to lead health, safety, and environmental activities for solar construction projects in Eunice, Louisiana. The role supports safer job-site execution, supervises HSE personnel, and partners with project stakeholders.

Project Details

This position supports solar construction projects and may require assignments in Louisiana, Georgia, Kentucky, Ohio, Washington, Texas, Oklahoma, and other states. Project transfers to new states may be available as assignments conclude.

Responsibilities

• Implement project HSE plans, regulatory requirements, safe work practices, and communication programs.
• Develop and deliver project-specific HSE training.
• Identify hazards and lead inspections, audits, investigations, and corrective-action reviews.
• Maintain emergency response, security, and environmental plans.
• Evaluate trade contractor HSE performance and safety plans.
• Coach and mentor HSE Coordinators and other project employees.
• Build effective relationships with project stakeholders.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
• Recognized safety designation.
• At least five years of health and safety experience in a related industry; supervisory experience is an asset.
• Knowledge of construction processes, HSE practices, occupational health and safety requirements, and environmental legislation.
• Strong communication, presentation, conflict-resolution, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to adopt new technology.
