Solar Electrical Superintendent

Job Summary

PCL Solar Constructors USA Inc. is seeking a Solar Electrical Superintendent to lead electrical construction operations on large-scale solar projects in Eaton and Camden, Ohio. This role directs field execution while maintaining strong standards for safety, quality, productivity, schedule, and project performance.

Project Details

The position supports utility-scale solar construction and may require assignment to projects in Ohio, Kentucky, Georgia, Texas, Oklahoma, Washington, or other states. Project assignments may change as work is completed.

Responsibilities

• Lead site teams, subcontractors, and trade partners while coaching and mentoring field personnel.
• Implement site safety procedures and maintain required records and documentation.
• Coordinate construction activities, work interfaces, schedule conflicts, productivity, quality, and project resources.
• Develop and maintain project execution plans, critical-path schedules, and resource-loaded three-week lookaheads.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, estimators, clients, labor representatives, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Monitor budgets, forecasts, cost reports, contract obligations, risks, and project profitability.
• Lead effective site and client meetings and maintain productive stakeholder relationships.

Required Experience

• Journeyman certification or a related undergraduate or engineering degree.
• NCSO designation required; enrollment in the Gold Seal program preferred.
• Approximately 10 years of progressive field supervision experience preferred, including successful construction workforce supervision.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, specifications, materials, safety requirements, environmental procedures, contracts, scheduling, and cost reporting.
• Ability to coordinate multiple work scopes, resolve conflicts, address constructability issues, and use scheduling and Microsoft Office systems.
