Solar Civil Superintendent

Job Summary

PCL Solar Constructors USA Inc. is seeking a Solar Civil Superintendent to lead field execution, crews, and civil construction activities for utility-scale solar projects based in Eunice, Louisiana, and Rochelle, Georgia.

Project Details

This role supports solar construction projects with assignments that may extend across multiple U.S. states. Project work includes coordinating civil scopes, subcontractors, company crews, schedules, safety, quality, and cost performance.

Responsibilities

• Direct field teams, trade partners, and subcontractors while maintaining productivity, quality, and safety standards.
• Coordinate with project management, engineering, estimating, clients, labor representatives, and site stakeholders.
• Build and manage project schedules, critical-path activities, execution plans, and three-week lookaheads.
• Identify constructability concerns, schedule conflicts, contract risks, and cost opportunities.
• Lead site meetings, maintain project documentation, and support budget, forecast, and profitability targets.

Required Experience

• Journeyman certificate or related undergraduate or engineering degree.
• Approximately five years of progressive field supervision experience preferred, including successful construction workforce supervision.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, specifications, materials, safety and environmental requirements, scheduling, takeoffs, labor reporting, and cost controls.
• Ability to coordinate multiple work scopes, interpret contracts, resolve conflicts, and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and construction operations systems.
