Senior Superintendent, Mission Critical

Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Senior Superintendent to lead complex mission-critical construction work, manage field teams, and drive safe, timely, and profitable project completion. The role reports through the Advanced Facilities Group and offers a path toward General Superintendent.

Project Details

The Advanced Facilities Group delivers large-scale data center, semiconductor, industrial, and manufacturing projects for innovative clients. The Senior Superintendent may oversee a standalone project, multiple projects, or a major portion of a larger program.

Responsibilities

• Direct field operations, construction sequencing, subcontractor coordination, staffing, workflow, and project site control.
• Lead safety, quality, scheduling, procurement, cost tracking, documentation, meetings, and project closeout activities.
• Manage multiple superintendents and influence delivery through project teams, internal resources, suppliers, and trade partners.
• Coordinate with project management on changes, budgets, schedules, contracts, risk management, and owner communications.
• Support project pursuits, client relationship development, recruiting, training, and business development activities.
• Promote diversity, inclusion, and an injury-free work environment while investigating incidents and reinforcing safe practices.

Required Experience

• High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• At least 10 years of construction experience and 8 years of field supervision experience.
• Advanced knowledge of construction means and methods, project processes, trades, self-perform work, labor productivity, layout, crane flagging, and rigging.
• Working proficiency with Microsoft Office, project management and accounting systems, scheduling software, and construction technology.
• Experience leading Lean practices is preferred.
• Valid, unrestricted driver's license required, along with the ability to lift at least 50 pounds and work in varied weather and field conditions.

This is a professional non-union position with benefits. The role may require travel or relocation and non-traditional working hours to meet project needs.
