Senior Superintendent, Mission Critical

Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Senior Superintendent to lead complex mission-critical and advanced-facility construction projects in Atlanta. This role oversees field execution, project teams, safety, quality, scheduling, and timely completion while supporting client relationships and future business development.

Project Details

The Advanced Facilities Group delivers data centers, semiconductor facilities, and industrial and manufacturing projects for innovative clients. The superintendent may manage a stand-alone project or multiple projects with several superintendents.

Responsibilities

• Direct subcontractors, suppliers, company staff, site logistics, and overall field workflow.
• Build and maintain construction schedules, work plans, staffing plans, and project execution strategies.
• Lead safety, quality assurance, trade coordination, daily operations, progress meetings, and project closeout.
• Monitor project costs, materials, equipment, changes, risks, documentation, and self-perform productivity.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, project managers, design teams, authorities, and other stakeholders.
• Support project pursuits, client relationships, recruiting, training, business development, and team diversity initiatives.

Required Experience

• At least 10 years of construction experience, including 8 or more years in field supervision.
• High school diploma or GED required; a construction management, engineering, or related bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of construction means and methods, trade scopes, self-perform work, labor productivity, layout, crane flagging, and rigging.
• Experience with project management, accounting, scheduling, construction technology, and Microsoft Office software.
• Lean construction experience is preferred.
• Valid and unrestricted driver's license required, along with the ability to lift at least 50 pounds and work in changing field conditions.
