Senior Superintendent

Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Senior Superintendent in Dallas to lead complex or multiple construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. The role oversees field teams, project execution, safety, quality, schedule, and client relationships, with a progression path toward General Superintendent.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple superintendents, subcontractors, suppliers, and project staff.
• Plan construction sequencing, work plans, staffing, logistics, and material requirements.
• Lead safety, quality, scheduling, coordination, and project documentation activities.
• Run daily and weekly field meetings and participate in owner, architect, and project review meetings.
• Monitor project changes, costs, risks, productivity, and schedule performance with project management.
• Support procurement, buyout, self-perform operations, closeout, and pre-punch activities.
• Develop client relationships, support pursuits and marketing, and help generate future business.
• Recruit and develop talent while promoting diversity and inclusion.

Required Experience

• High school diploma or GED required; a construction management, engineering, or related bachelor's degree is preferred.
• At least 10 years of construction experience and 8 years of field supervision experience.
• Advanced communication, presentation, construction means and methods, trade, self-perform, labor productivity, layout, and rigging knowledge.
• Intermediate proficiency with project management, accounting, scheduling, and construction technology software, including MS Office.
• Experience leading Lean principles is preferred.
• Valid unrestricted driver's license and ability to lift at least 50 pounds required.
