Senior Project Manager - Pipe - Heavy Civil

Job Summary

Garney Construction is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead project management teams and support heavy civil pipe construction operations in San Antonio.

Project Details

The role focuses on pipe and heavy civil construction, including cost control, budgeting, value engineering, and client coordination.

Responsibilities

• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of Project Managers.
• Review initial budgets, cost projections, and work-in-progress projections.
• Support business development and identify new opportunities.
• Work with project teams to develop value engineering solutions.
• Build and maintain relationships with owners and engineers.
• Adjust to changing schedules, operational demands, and urgent matters.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
• At least eight years of supervisory construction experience.
• Ability to travel and/or relocate as operational needs require.
