Senior Project Manager - Pipe - Heavy Civil

Job Summary

Garney Construction is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead project management teams and support heavy civil pipe construction operations in Austin, Texas.

Project Details

This role focuses on heavy civil pipe work and requires flexibility to support operational needs, travel, or relocation.

Responsibilities

• Manage, mentor, and develop Project Managers.
• Evaluate project budgets, cost forecasts, and work-in-progress projections.
• Identify value engineering opportunities with internal teams.
• Build new business and maintain strong owner and engineer relationships.
• Respond to urgent operational needs and work a flexible schedule.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
• At least eight years of supervisory construction experience.
• Ability to travel and/or relocate as project needs require.
