Senior Project Engineer, Tulsa

Job Summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Senior Project Engineer in Tulsa to manage smaller projects or assigned scopes within larger construction projects, supporting project administration, field execution, safety, quality, and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates, scopes of work, change requests, procurement logs, schedules, reports, and project documentation.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, material deliveries, submittals, inspections, meetings, and pay applications.
• Monitor field production, manpower, equipment, quantities, quality, safety, and project risks.
• Lead assigned project closeout activities, including punch lists, inspections, as-built drawings, and operations and maintenance documentation.
• Use CMiC, project management tools, construction technology, and Lean practices to support project performance.
• Build effective working relationships with project teams, tradespeople, subcontractors, and owners, while mentoring other team members.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• At least 3 years of construction experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, project management and accounting software, and required construction technology.
• Knowledge of construction methods, project processes, Lean practices, self-perform work, labor productivity, and project controls.
• Ability to work accurately, communicate effectively, collaborate across teams, and lead production goals.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and work non-traditional hours when project needs require.
