Senior Project Engineer, Healthcare

Job Summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to support healthcare construction work in Dallas. This role manages a small project or an assigned portion of a complex project while coordinating project administration, field execution, quality, safety, and team communication.

Project Details

The position supports healthcare construction projects and may be based at project sites, in the office, or across both settings.

Responsibilities

• Develop estimates, scopes of work, change requests, procurement logs, schedules, and project documentation.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspections, submittals, deliveries, pay applications, and project meetings.
• Monitor manpower, production, materials, equipment, costs, quality, safety, and subcontractor performance.
• Support project setup and administration using CMiC and other construction technologies.
• Lead assigned closeout activities, including punch lists, inspections, as-built information, and operations and maintenance documentation.
• Apply Lean practices, support self-perform opportunities, and mentor project team members.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• At least 3 years of construction experience.
• Working knowledge of construction methods, project processes, scheduling, estimating, project accounting software, construction technology, and Lean practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to communicate, collaborate, lead teams, and manage project information accurately.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and work in field conditions involving standing, walking, climbing, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
