Self-Perform Project Manager, Concrete

Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Self-Perform Project Manager, Concrete to direct moderately complex construction projects or defined portions of larger work. The role combines project administration, financial management, subcontractor coordination, scheduling, risk management, and support for self-perform operations in Tempe, Arizona.

Responsibilities

• Lead project safety efforts, preconstruction planning, procurement, buyout, submittals, changes, pay applications, reporting, and closeout.
• Coordinate owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, field teams, and internal departments.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, resource logs, cost forecasts, budgets, and margin projections.
• Identify project risks and schedule impacts, document key decisions, and guide mitigation efforts.
• Lead project reviews, progress meetings, and owner-architect-contractor meetings.
• Manage project business plans, deliverables, estimating support, and financial performance across multiple or moderately complex projects.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least 7 years of construction management experience.
• Working knowledge of construction means and methods, project administration, budgeting, scheduling, accounting, and construction technology.
• Intermediate MS Office, communication, presentation, and Lean process skills, with advanced project management, accounting, construction technology, and scheduling software skills.
• Valid, unrestricted driver's license required.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and work non-traditional hours when project needs require.
