Safety Manager

Job Summary

Garney is seeking a Safety Manager to lead safety efforts on water and sewer pipeline projects in the Indianapolis area.

Project Details

The role supports water and sewer pipeline construction projects, with travel or relocation required as project needs dictate.

Responsibilities

• Apply safety regulations and standards across project management and field operations.
• Deliver safety training to job site personnel.
• Perform daily inspections, document hazards, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Investigate accidents and other safety incidents.

Required Experience

• A degree in civil, mechanical, construction engineering, construction management, or a safety-related discipline is preferred.
• OSHA 30 Construction certification is required.
• CHST certification must be held or obtained within six months of hire.
• English/Spanish bilingual ability is preferred.
