Safety Manager

Job Summary

Garney is seeking a Safety Manager to lead safety efforts on water and sewer pipeline construction projects in Houston.

Project Details

The role supports infrastructure work involving water and sewer pipeline construction.

Responsibilities

• Help apply safety requirements and standards for project teams and field personnel.
• Deliver safety instruction to job site employees.
• Perform daily site audits, document hazards, and coordinate corrective action.
• Investigate accidents and other safety incidents.

Required Experience

• A degree in civil, mechanical, construction engineering, construction management, or a safety-related discipline is preferred.
• OSHA 30 Construction certification is required.
• CHST certification must be held or obtained within six months of hire.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are preferred.
• Willingness to travel and/or relocate is required.
