Safety Manager

Job Summary

Garney is seeking a Safety Manager to lead safety efforts for water and sewer pipeline construction projects in Tracy, California.

Project Details

This role supports field and project management teams working on water and sewer pipeline infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Apply safety regulations and standards across project and field operations.
• Provide safety training for job site employees.
• Complete daily inspections, document hazards, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Investigate accidents and other safety incidents.

Required Experience

• A degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, construction engineering, construction management, or a related safety discipline is preferred.
• OSHA 30 Construction certification is required.
• CHST certification is required or must be obtained within six months of hire.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are preferred.
• Ability to travel and/or relocate is required.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range is $110,000-$140,000 per year.
