Job Summary

Garney is seeking a Project Manager to lead water and wastewater construction projects in Tracy, California. The role requires prior project management experience in this sector.

Project Details

This position supports water and wastewater infrastructure construction, including project planning, cost control, procurement, scheduling, and contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Manage project costs, work-in-progress forecasts, labor projections, and financial performance.
• Plan and maintain project schedules while coordinating site supervisory personnel.
• Build owner relationships and handle contract negotiations and administration.
• Purchase materials and oversee procurement activities.
• Set and enforce job-site safety expectations.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related discipline.
• Seven to ten years of construction experience.
• Previous project management experience in water and wastewater construction.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary is $130,000-$170,000 per year.
