Job Summary

Garney Construction is seeking a Project Manager to lead water and wastewater construction projects in Suffolk, Virginia. The role requires prior project management experience in this sector.

Project Details

The position supports water and wastewater infrastructure construction and related owner and contract administration activities.

Responsibilities

• Manage project costs, work-in-progress forecasts, labor projections, and material purchasing.
• Plan and schedule work while supervising job site management personnel.
• Maintain owner relationships and administer contract negotiations.
• Set and enforce job site safety expectations.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
• Seven to ten years of construction experience.
• Previous project management experience in water and wastewater construction.
