Job Summary

Garney Construction is seeking a Project Manager to oversee water and wastewater construction projects in McKinney, Texas. The position requires prior project management experience in this sector.

Project Details

Lead water and wastewater construction work, coordinating project execution, cost control, scheduling, contracts, materials, and owner relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage cost forecasts, work-in-progress projections, labor projections, and overall project expenses.
• Direct site supervisory personnel and coordinate project planning and scheduling.
• Build owner relationships and handle contract negotiation and administration.
• Negotiate and purchase materials while maintaining job-site safety expectations.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related discipline.
• Seven to ten years of construction experience.
• Previous project management experience in water and wastewater construction.
