Job Summary

PCL Buildings Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to lead medium-sized building construction projects in Phoenix. The role provides contract, financial, schedule, safety, quality, and stakeholder leadership from planning through closeout.

Project Details

The position supports Phoenix Buildings projects, including construction and, when applicable, design-build delivery. Work includes coordinating design progress, constructability, quality, compliance, and project timing.

Responsibilities

• Administer contracts and maintain project performance across safety, cost, quality, resources, and schedule.
• Develop the project safety plan and promote strong health and safety practices.
• Evaluate value-engineering opportunities and manage project risks and opportunities.
• Negotiate subcontracts, purchase orders, and progress payments while monitoring trade progress.
• Communicate contract requirements, coordinate stakeholders, and manage expectations.
• Coordinate design-management activities and project closeout when applicable.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of progressive construction experience; leadership and mentoring experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, specifications, methods, building codes, construction law, safety, and quality management.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules, stakeholder relationships, and project risks.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, project management, and scheduling software.
