Project Manager (Healthcare)

Job Summary

PCL Construction Services, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to lead complex healthcare construction work in Minneapolis. This employee-owned organization offers responsibility for project delivery, team leadership, client relationships, and performance.

Project Details

The role supports healthcare construction and innovative infrastructure projects, with responsibility for coordinating design, construction, commissioning, and closeout activities.

Responsibilities

• Manage contract administration, project budgets, schedules, resources, quality, safety, and risk.
• Oversee construction execution and promote a strong jobsite safety culture.
• Negotiate subcontracts, purchase orders, progress payments, and related contract requirements.
• Lead project commissioning, closeout, stakeholder communication, and value engineering efforts.
• Supervise, coach, train, and mentor project team members and coordinate trade performance.
• For design-build work, monitor design progress, constructability, coordination, quality, and deliverables.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
• 10–15 years of progressive construction experience, including healthcare projects.
• Experience leading teams and managing project budgets, schedules, resources, risks, and opportunities.
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, specifications, contracts, building codes, safety, and quality practices.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, project management tools, scheduling software, and emerging technology.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary is $130,000–$160,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
